What we check
PDFs and Word documents in bulk
Bank statements, payslips, invoices, contracts and certificates, checked file by file for signs of tampering: the software that touched them, dates that don’t agree, text that was replaced, and pages that came from somewhere else.
KYC and onboarding documents
Proof of identity, proof of address and proof of income, checked for the traces a changed document leaves behind before an account is opened or a tenancy is signed.
Edited images and scans
Photographs and scans of documents, checked for retouching, pasted-in text, mismatched compression and camera details that don’t fit the story.
The documents you already hold
A one-off review of a backlog, or a regular check of everything that comes in, with the ones worth a human look brought to the top.
How it works
Get in touch
Tell us what you receive and roughly how many a month. We agree how long files are kept and who can see them.
We set up your account
Once approved, your team signs in and adds documents as they arrive: PDFs, Word documents and images, one at a time or in batches.
Every item is checked
Each file goes through the same checks for signs of tampering, however many there are. Nothing is skimmed because the pile is tall.
Flags appear in your account
Each item shows what was found, how strong the sign is, and what to confirm with the issuer. The clear ones are clear, so your team spends its time on the rest.
What the report can and can’t say
A check finds signs, and says how strong each one is. A file saved by an editing program, a creation date later than the date printed on the page, or text in a different font from the rest are reasons to ask questions, not proof of fraud.
We never certify a document as genuine. A document with no signs may still be false, and the only way to be sure of a statement, a payslip or a passport is to confirm it with whoever issued it. The report says so on every file, and tells you what to ask.
Documents like these are full of personal information, often about someone other than the person who sent them. We agree the lawful basis, who sees the files, and how long we keep them before the first batch is sent, and we delete them when that time is up.
