What a check can and can’t tell you
We look for signs: dates that don’t agree, software that doesn’t fit the kind of document, text or figures that sit differently from the rest, saved versions, and more. The result says what we found and how strong each sign is.
A sign isn’t proof. Ordinary edits leave marks too, and a careful forgery can leave none. We never certify a document as genuine, and we never say one sign proves fraud. For anything that matters, confirm the document with whoever issued it.
